Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT)

Spirometers are used in these examinations to evaluate the lung’s functioning state and identify the source of dyspnea. PFT gauges a person’s ability to breathe in and out as well as how well the environment and body’s circulation exchange gases. PFT is used to identify disorders including asthma, bronchitis, COPD, and ILD.
